VAG
VAS 5054A is professional diagnosis & programming tool for VAG group
vehicles include VW, AUDI, SKODA, SEAT, Bentley and Lamborghini. Normally, we
only sell VAS 5054A with VW, AUDI, SKODA and SEAT software. They are combined
in software ODIS which is friendly diagnosis program with multiple languages.
ODIS is much better than old VAG base software, more easy to install and more
function. This essay is telling customers some FAQ about using VAS 5054A and
latest ODIS software. We will be grateful if you can read it with patience and
share it to your friends.
Install software
A.There will be a installation video in our DVD. If
you do not find it, please contact us to get it downloaded.
B.You’d better
install latest JAVA program before installing ODIS because ODIS runs based on
JAVA. Ghost or format disk C if you
installed ford IDS software on laptop.
C. Bad luck... You
need to reinstall your operation system or format disk C if you installed ford
IDS software on your laptop. Because IDS patch damaged JAVA in system.
D. Before install
ODIS for VAS 5054A, you need to make disk C into format NTFS and more than 10GB
free space in it. Operation system is better be in WINXP SP3 32 bit or WIN7 32
bit.
E. When you
install it, please choose the language you need and then install.
Install Driver of
VAS 5054A
It is easy to
install VAS
5054A driver into laptop. After install ODIS, connect VAS 5054A to car and
laptop by USB cable. The laptop will find driver from VAS 5054A VCI
automatically. Pls note: do not open internet connection when you connect vci
to laptop otherwise it take long time to install driver or failed.
After 5054A
connect to laptop, the indicating lights will blink irregularly ( if it does
not connect to laptop, lights will blink regularly per second). And now you can
find device in DEVICE MANAGER of laptop.

VAS 5054A can
connect to laptop by 2 ways, USB and Bluetooth. YOU ONLY can connect it to
laptop by one way of them at a time, usb or BT. Pls watch the video in DVD to
see how to make bluetooth connection between laptop and VCI. If your laptop has
no internal bluetooth device, please install external one which is in package.
Tips of using ODIS
software
A.ODIS is friendly software but sometimes it runs
slow especially you have low parameters of your laptop. Sometimes you need to
input car information manually for example VIN, brand, engine style and so on.
There is one thing make user to be happy because ODIS allow user to check
independent module.
B.In the main page
of ODIS, you can see if VCI connect to car and ignition. But sometimes it does
not recognize the ignition if your car has high or low voltage through OBD. Do
not worry, it diagnose car without any problem.

Hi I have installed Odis 4.3.3 & interface 5054A. When I start diagnostics it does not recognize car & ignition. What can b possible solution can you plz help
